Europass
The Europass can be used in 31 European countries and consists of the following documents:
- Curriculum Vitae – standardised template in various languages
- Language Passport – description of language competences
- Mobility – record of training and work experiences gathered abroad
- Certificate Supplement – description of VET competences
- Diploma Supplement – detailed description of competence acquired in higher education
Europass Mobility
IFA is the central information office for Europass Mobility in Austria. The Europass Mobility is available for all people – in particular for pupils, apprentices and students – and can be used in the 27 member states of the European Union, in the EFTA/EEA countries Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway as well as in Turkey.
What are the advantages of the Europass Mobility?
The Europass Mobility
- makes work experiences visible,
- helps companies get a clear picture of the competences applicants have acquired abroad and
- takes vocational as well as personal and social competences into account.
In order to use the Europass Mobility the following requirements have to be met:
- organised periods of time spent abroad for the purpose of learning or training
- periods must be spent in one the 31 participating European countries
- written agreement between the sending and hosting organisation on contents, objectives and duration of the experience abroad,
- mentors in the partner organisations, indicated by name
