i 2 i – Internship to Industry

The project i 2 i was initiated to counteract the shortage of skilled workers in technical fields.

Its aim is to adjust the training in technical professions to the needs of the companies. This requires cooperation between companies, schools, training centres and public authorities. Work placements of students and apprentices are part of such cooperations.

In order to improve the quality of work placements, a manual for people responsible for placements in companies (mentors) as well as materials for the intercultural preparation of placement participants will be developed.
